Russell starred in a ‘Last Night Of The Proms’ picnic concert at the National Trust property, Speke Hall, Liverpool, on Monday 4th June 2012.
Local band, “Man Get Out” warmed up the audience before Rob Emery took charge of the Manchester Camerata Orchestra and Russell reprised most of the patriotic songs from the album, supported by Natasha Marsh.
Natasha had a solo spot where she sang a fabulous interpretation of Queen’s “Who Wants To Live Forever?”
Russell’s numbers included, Flower Of Scotland…
and The Beatles’ Yesterday by way of tribute to Liverpool’s own Fab Four.
Lots of pictures in Speke Hall Concerts’ Facebook album.
