After having launched their new album “Back In Harmony” on ITV’s ‘Lorraine’ show on Friday morning, Russell and Aled appeared at London’s Hyde Park to help open BBC Radio’s Proms In The Park.

The excellent ‘Rock Choir’ opened the proceedings with four songs and then Russell and Aled took to the stage with “Lucky, Lucky, Lucky Me” from the new album followed by “Cinema Paradiso” “Shenandoah” and (of course) “Volare“.

If you haven’t already heard it, the whole of Friday’s performances can be found on BBC Sounds via the link below. Russell and Aled are introduced by host Michael Ball after 20 minutes and some seconds.

January 2019

Russell and his team of musicians appear to have had a quick trip to Davos, in Switzerland, where the World Economic Forum takes place each year and is currently in full swing this week, but there’s been no hint of precisely why. the Team are there.

We can only imagine that they may have been performing at a ‘private function’ … but what a glorious place to start the year.
