HOME FROM HOME …
Some while ago Russell supported the Alpha Club‘s special concert in aid of the Chelsea Pensioners with Friederike Krum and the subsequent release of a CD of the charity single “Home From Home“. A video of that song’s debut has now been released as part of Alpha Club’s current publicity and fundraising.

THE WHITE CLIFFS OF DOVER …
Russell joined Dame Vera Lynn to sing The White Cliffs Of Dover as part of her 100th birthday celebrations back in 2017 and has recently posted a link to it for VE Day.

MOON RIVER …
Russell didn’t do a ‘Facebook Live’ chat yesterday but instead treated fans to a special recording of Moon River with a remote piano accompaniment from Mike Moran and John Bailey.
The initial post on Friday evening suffered some sort of problem. Not everyone was able to see it when it was first broadcast and it then disappeared completely but Louise was able to recover it this afternoon (Saturday). Huge thanks to all concerned.

A little reminder from HELLO! Magazine of Russell and Louise’s big day, five (really … five!) years ago this coming August.

LIVE ON FACEBOOK …
Friday evenings seem to have become a regular date for fans to visit Russell at his home in Cheshire (via the internet) and this week he laid on a superb song list from his music room.
The video starts off rather out of focus and with lights spoiling the image a little but be patient while Russell and Louise make adjustments and it will settle down to a most enjoyable hour.
