On Monday 15th October, Russell Tweeted, ” I am delighted to be joining Christmas Carolling at the Royal Albert Hall on 18 & 21 Dec at 2.30pm. Full details here: http://www.royalalberthall.com/tickets/christmas/christmas-carolling/default.aspx … “
These dates have now been included on Russell’s new official website.
Expect to ‘sit’ in the Waiting Room of the Royal Albert Hall’s website at busy periods but once you get through using the link Russell gave, you’ll find the carolling is part of Raymond Gubbay’s week-long Christmas Festival.
Raymond Gubbay, the promoter, offers a competition via Facebook to win a pair of tickets to see Russell at one of the performances, including a 3-course meal for two in the Elgar Restaurant at the Royal Albert Hall.
Here’s their promotional video from earlier in the year…
Russell appeared at the Christmas Carolling at Manchester’s Bridgewater Hall on Monday evening, then he and the rest of the principals moved promptly south for the Tuesday afternoon performance at the Royal Albert Hall. He is to perform at Smooth Radio’s concert at the Union Chapel in Islington (tonight) before the final Carolling concert at the RAH on Friday.
