To promote the release of his CD ‘People Get Ready’, Russell decided to present his showcase to the public in the foyer of the Tesco supermarket at Handforth Dean, Cheshire. He did a rehearsal with his backing group and then went to do a radio interview before returning for a live TV interview immediately prior to the ‘show’.
